How about more “Trust” and “Reliability” in Regulatory Affairs work ?

September 8, 2017

Hello ! I hope that you are doing very well. These days there are many different events happening around the world. The natural events, political events, … The world is passing through a different period. Inevitably, these facts have certain effects on people and how they react. And people try to be cautious in all areas of life. Do you think we are losing trust to each other? Well, I have been discussing this with my teammates and clients. Unfortunately, everyone has become more skeptical these days while doing business. And like the other areas, “trust” and “reliability” are key values in our work, regulatory affairs.

As you may have seen on my website, I have my team-mates in many regions like CIS region, USA, UK, EU, Balkan Region, Asia Pacific, Turkey, GCC Region, Latin America. So we cover the projects in these areas. In order to keep the client assured and relied we follow certain steps:

1.      As a “MUST” we have an NDA before starting any discussions with the client.

2.      We have teleconferences and meetings in order to understand each other clearly.

3.      In our agreements we make amendments in order to have both sides satisfied and have reliable work

4.      The clients get in contact directly with my teammates via e-mail or we have meetings altogether

5.      We work openly and transparently and inform the client about the progress in each step with reports

6.      If there is more than one party in the project we inform all the parties about the steps with details. We believe that good and accurate communication is the key point for success. My teammates have either worked in Ministry of Health in the related country or have good contacts in Ministry of Health and they are experienced in their areas.

7.      We inform the clients about the limits and our principles at the beginning and try to understand how we can support them. We make promises for the things that we “can” do.

We believe that people need to have certain principles and ethics values in order to be reliable at work. It is good to follow your own path by comparing yourself with your business targets, not with the people.

I think this really is an important subject and I look forward to hearing your comments.

Have a nice day!
