Hi! I hope things are going well with you in 2017, especially in business. Everyone is having some ups and downs these days. The world is changing with dynamic variables. So, sometimes we all have the hesitation in certain steps while doing our work.
A few months ago, I had a discussion with one of my clients at the beginning of our collaboration on how to do things better, how to give her better service, how to improve things in their work, etc. And she told me the fact that it was really hard to trust third parties when she had many responsibilities given to her in the company and managers expecting her to do better. I told her that she had to get support if she wanted to do things right and on time. But I could still feel her hesitation. So, I came up with a solution: I suggested her to write down the topics that bothered her while getting services from third parties previously and the topics that she found supportive. Her biggest issue was about “Getting Responsibility“. That’s an important point because our job is to find the solutions for those people when there is a hardship or handicap. People feel more relieved when they are convinced that they are being listened and guided by third parties for good.
Also, I want to remind “Clarity” once more. Clarity is vital in RA from the beginning. Therefore, we need to know what is exactly asked from us. What is required? How can we give support? Is it suitable to have a collaboration? Are our services suitable for them? Is the business model suitable for the client? These are the major questions that need to be answered at the beginning.
Today different characteristics have become more important in addition to being a “Problem Solver” like reliability, clarity, kindness and how sincere you are. Those are the keys to have a good collaboration. I would love to hear your comments.
