Hello! I hope you are well. It has been nearly 5 months since I last wrote here. I had some health issues and had an operation, but now I’m very well and happy to share new things with you here.
Do you ever feel lost in a project because of so much details ? Frankly speaking we all feel it sometimes.
Recently I and my teammates have worked in a project on type variation with different product groups in different territories. And it gets more difficult to follow-up the project in different territories at the same time since the regulation and the requirements change from one country to another. Also, the application fees, demands change from one to another.
It is critical to determine all the key factors from the beginning. That’s why I work with my teammates who are local and experienced in those regions. It gets easier when you have local contacts and experts in specific topics to delegate them in order to solve issues. When they get in touch with the authority directly it gets easier to have proper project follow-up, prioritization of the topics and determine the challenges as well as the details from the beginning.
We have an e-mailing group for specific issues. That way, everyone in the team knows what to do and all team members are well-informed about how the project goes.
We also give short reports to each other about the final situation so that everyone is in recognition. Those short reports keep the group alert, to give the main ideas and makes it easier to get deeper about the project.
Synergy and tolerance are very important in team-work. We listen to each other and try to understand one another for what is actually required in order to solve the issue. We focus on the solution more than the issue itself.
